Sample Courses for InDesign:

Our 2 day InDesign: Introduction course gives users who are new to Desktop Publishing an appreciation of the basics of this professional typesetting and page layout program. Content typically includes creating a new document, working with palettes, text and pictures, spell check, tables and the use of colour.

The InDesign: Advanced course will help participants who want to explore the more in depth features of InDesign. Content typically includes setting preferences for optimum performance, working with text, story editor and object styles, mastering picture boxes, drawing tools and legacy boxes and preparation for printing. Our Quark to InDesign course is designed to allow experienced Quark users to switch to InDesign. It will focus on similarities but will also look at the additional production enhancements unique to InDesign.
